After working internationally for Vidal Sassoon salons, Jason found his real passion for teaching while working at the Vidal Sassoon Academy in London. He soon became an integral part of the international creative team, working extensively with some of the most revered icons in the hairdressing industry. As one of the few Americans to ever cut models hair for Sassoon collections, he has demonstrated techniques in every major trade show. Jason has traveled all over the world doing salon workshops and seminars and his work has been featured in publications such as American Salon and Modern Salon. At present, Jason specializes in working with salon owners and their staff in customizing education and motivational program specific to their needs by inspiring stylists and training salons on the hottest trends and newest looks.

What is the Met Gala?

It is an annual event at the Met Museum in New York City that kicks off the Costume Institute spring exhibition. The Met Gala, or Met Ball as it is also called, has a theme that goes with the exhibition, and antendees usually incorporate the theme with their outfits.

Met Gala 2013 took place on May 6. This year, the looks were exceptionally unique - with a theme like "Punk: Chaos to Couture," we saw plenty of studding, black leather and even a few mohawks.
 We loved these looked so much, we made our very own best-dressed gallery!
